Introducing the IAC Newsletter
History
The deep deficiencies observed in Portugal in advocating and promoting Children's Rights, considering the fact that there are several authorities and experiences that needed to be gather together and stimulated, resulted in the decision to create a convening forum to discuss ideas and efforts to improve the situation of Children in Portugal.
The Newsletter for Instituto de Apoio à Criança (Child Care Institute) was created in early 1988 as a bimonthly publication (it later started to be released on a quarterly basis). For over 20 years, it has been publishing articles signed by altruistic men and women who have always had Children's issues in mind as the authentic root of human dignity and, beyond their qualities, are also partners of the IAC.
